Transmission is a short film set aboard an abandoned space station, where an astronaut follows distant echoes into the unknown.
For this project, I created the sound design, original score, and both the 5.1 and stereo mixes, together with Max Weise.
The music and sound design are deeply intertwined: tense drones, fragmented radio signals, and mechanical textures shape a claustrophobic atmosphere. A central, undefined presence needed its own sonic identity — something that feels neither human nor machine, yet irresistibly draws the astronaut closer.
The result is a sound world defined by continuous tension and high sonic density, sustaining pressure throughout the film.
